Adult posing as student spent four days in class at New Brunswick HS, officials say

A woman spent four days in class at New Brunswick high school before officials apparently realized the truth, according to district officials.

A video of the New Brunswick School Board meeting on Tuesday, January 24 was posted on Twitter by Charlie Kratovil, New Brunswick Today Reporter.

“It’s an unfortunate event,” Superintendent Aubrey Johnson said in the video. “She was in a few classes.”

“She stayed here for four days before she was discovered and banned from entering district property,” Johnson continues.

“All relevant authorities were immediately informed and the individual in question was arrested for providing false documents…We told our students to refrain from having any contact with her.”

Johnson promised a review of the process used to register the woman, who was not immediately identified.
