MassDOT snowstorm warning for Wednesday, January 25

Boston – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is advising travelers to expect snow throughout the day tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25. The storm will bring snowfall across Massachusetts from the southwest to the northeast. The snow is expected to change to rain from south to north late Wednesday and into Wednesday night. MassDOT advises drivers to check the updated travel forecast on Wednesday as a winter mix of snow and rain will impact travel, especially on untreated roads.

MassDOT will deploy storm-related logistics as needed. Drivers need to make informed decisions about when to depart, the routes they take, and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
